- Federal Aviation Administration – New York ARTCC, Ronkonkoma NY – employee since 1982
Traffic Management Specialist:
- Acted as liaison between New York Center and Airline Air Traffic representatives, NBAA, other civil aviation organizations, and military representatives.
- Performed Traffic Management flow/trend analysis using tools such as PDARs (Performance Data Analysis and Reporting System), SkyDataSentry (System Analysis tool), and OPSNET (Official FAA Operations and Delay Data).
Airspace and Procedures Specialist:
- Worked collaboratively to maximize use of available airspace by the tailoring of traffic flows and the development/improvement of air traffic procedures.
- Authored Letters of Agreement between FAA facilities and between the FAA and various Aviation Groups.
- Provided briefings to operational personnel and aviation groups on procedural changes.
DSR (Display System Replacement) Cadre Instructor
- Conducted training of the control workforce in the use of upgraded radar displays and the new ERAM interfaces.
Radar Controller and Instructor
- Performed Full Performance Level (FPL) controller duties in a Level 12 Air Route Traffic Control Center

- Evaluated and corrected automation anomalies to ensure compliance with NAS MD-s (National Airspace System Management Documents).
